Script Doctor to the rescue
=

You all know what a script doctor is. It is someone who is called in to revive the dying patient, or screenplay, which had once been a good concept, but had somehow fallen apart.

I was pinning up all the unframed pieces on my design wall today at 5am in anticipation of a visit from Frieda Anderson and uncovered this pitiful false start of a painting. The color was deplorable and now benfiting from recent experiences, I felt confident that I could resurrect this with better color. So instead of getting dressed, and unloading the dishwasher, I open the paint cans and proceeded to the rescue.

Time has a way of flitting by when the brushes are wet and I was about to be caught with my pants down, literally, as the doorbell rang and Frieda arrived. It is amazing what one can do in a short time frame.

  2. Wow! Good save.

I'm especially intrigued by how the color impacts the design elements. The intensity and contrast of colors makes the lines say, 'Here we are, and we are fabulous!'
