Script Doctor to the rescue

You all know what a script doctor is. It is someone who is called in to revive the dying patient, or screenplay, which had once been a good concept, but had somehow fallen apart.
I was pinning up all the unframed pieces on my design wall today at 5am in anticipation of a visit from Frieda Anderson and uncovered this pitiful false start of a painting. The color was deplorable and now benfiting from recent experiences, I felt confident that I could resurrect this with better color. So instead of getting dressed, and unloading the dishwasher, I open the paint cans and proceeded to the rescue.

Time has a way of flitting by when the brushes are wet and I was about to be caught with my pants down, literally, as the doorbell rang and Frieda arrived. It is amazing what one can do in a short time frame.
It is such fun to watch you on a roll and having fun! {big smile} Infectious, inspirational... :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Good save.
ReplyDeleteI'm especially intrigued by how the color impacts the design elements. The intensity and contrast of colors makes the lines say, 'Here we are, and we are fabulous!'
