detailI started painting this yesterday but had to stop to make cookies. Now fortified with two cups of tea and several oatmeal cookies I finished the piece. I was going for a looser, juicy paint look. Compared to the light, almost watercolory effect of the first three, this one pumps up the texture.
This is beautiful! What kind of paint do you use? Acrylic? Just curious. I want to paint, but I'm so freaked out by it. It's not something I feel "qualified" to do, not like quilts, or fabric stuff. That's easy and non-threatening. But painting...I'm trying, but whew, scary!
