The Girlfriends Will Party Today!!

!! Woowoo!!

A teeny bit of Gretl's yarn stash.

We, The Girlfriends, have been invited to Gretl's house to help her organize her yarn into her brand new bins. The theory is that we will decide by color where everything will go. Ha!

The exciting part is that we are allowed to fondle and drool over yarn that is already paid for!

And Lunch is involved. Can I be happier?

The amount of yarn in these pictures makes me feel so much better about my meager stash.

Gretl's first attempt at pre-organization.

This looks so sensible, doesn't it? A place for everything and everything in its place. It makes one feel that before one begins any new project that first one must see if one already has the perfect yarn for the task. Yeah, right...
I will be bringing my camera and will faithfully record the result.

I am personally bringing over a bag of yarn that was given to me this summer. Full of delightful Gray (!) Orlon Sayelle, the yarn of my youth. Will she take it?
Can we talk her out of keeping the few oddballs she may have lying around? Stay tuned.

Art For Breakfast: Margaret Roberts is a delicious fiber artist from Wiltshire England. Her work is beautifully colored, hand stitched manipulated fabrics and paper, depicting the countryside near her home. I am totally in awe of her small, no, intimate size work. Give yourself a visual treat and visit her site. http://www.m-roberts.com/home.html

How nice to start the day with such inspiration.
