And Now What?

It was just sitting there on the design wall as I was putting away the leftovers from Nine Big Blocks. Hmm. I could just quilt it and it could grow into something, eh? Just after I said I was done making twin sized quilts. But but but. I never got to use my box of red/orange/pink strips, so why not continue in this QAYG series with one or two (the big blue block I didn't use) more.
And Happy Day the order I placed over Labor Day arrived and I have more yellows, blues and a few more reds and greens. I was just filling in the low spots, really. Ooh and those pretty pastels. Sigh.

I am going to try adding interesting panels to my center block, with triangles. I'll have to figure out how to make these fit...
It's so nice to sit, sew, press and cut all in one spot.

There's a bit of a chill in the air in the mornings and the pups like to cuddle.

  1. Your energy continues to amaze me! I've got lots of ideas but most never get done because of health issues.
The red block would make spectacular quilt!

  3. Looks like your just going to have to sew some more. What's a girl to do when there is so much great fabric around? Love your selection. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

This Fibermaniac (or Fibremaniac here!) is too far away to attend. Sigh.

"Mom! He's hogging the whole chair! I can't rest with my tail hanging out for anybody to grab!"

(He'd hate me--I'd not be able to resist touching that tail!)
