Collaborating with Nancy

Hi Melody!

Finally my turn! Hooray!

It is way too hard to choose! I am already scheming how to get on the list again...I LOVE everything you do. I am lucky enough to have one of your wonderful sweaters, and you may recall I am a fellow pug lover (we have three pug boys: Romeo, Elvis and LarryPug).

I am torn because I love the colors in the street series (Magenta Midway, Plum Plaza and Via Violetta),

but then I fell in love with your wonderful yarn bombed trees in the Moonbeam Series, especially Moonbeams #2...I will choose the Moonbeam Series, with a little color influence from the purple street trio perhaps?

For size, I will go up to 22 inches on the longest side, but do whatever works for you... my preference would be square or rectangle orientation... and if you're in a "small" mood, smaller is fine too.

Is this enough information for inspiration? I'm in no rush, so take it easy and enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend. I enjoy seeing your beautiful garden grow. Pugs and kisses to Tony and Chumley.
++++++
We did enjoy our Memorial Day weekend, and had a party with my sister, niece and her boyfriend. The first of the basil was harvested for pesto,

 and I had to bring out a chair to support the trailing cucumber plants. If they all ripen at once, look out neighbors. I'd say there are about 2 dozen little stubs of cukes on the vines.

The pond is coming along nicely since I added barley solution which keeps the algae in check, and our replacement water lilies are reaching up and will be on the surface in no time. The fish came out for pictures and a nibble and entertained our guests. My niece Glory named this silver koi Mercury.  He is the bravest of the five koi and gets to eat first.

  3. Ha! The entire neighbourhood could easily survive a prolonged disaster on what that garden is threatening to produce!! You don't only have green thumbs Melody, you're green from the elbows down!!! And I love enjoying your gardening vicariously! Thank you.

    Use a charcoal; filter. That keeps the water as clear as you could ever imagine.
