I love the ideas...what were the original blocks? I have figured out one of them for sure but can't or won't commit to any more! How many different blocks are there please? I adore your quilts...especially the colour. I also understand your frustration at working with 'pioneer traditionalists'. However here in our corner of the world, six of us have got together to push each other in artful quilting, and we have a ball. Regional meetings are different though. Even hand dyed fabrics are a bit way out for them!! Oh well...

Hi Melody, I was a quilter until I had some physical problems. Now I knit and play with beads and jewelry making. I just wanted to tell you how much I love your work, be it quilting, knitting or apple pie-lets! I'm completely into the contemporary color and designs that you use. I even tried to die my own fabric once and would have done more if I'd had room and time! Anyway, just wanted to send you a little fan letter and wish you Happy New Year.
