It will either get too hot in summer or if it freezes in winter (does it freeze where you are?) the fish will die. A general rule is with at least two foot below ground level, there will be unfrozen water for them to survive. I don't know how you will protect them from the heat. Polystyrene? There must be some way to install it without it being ugly.Featheronawire Sally Bramaldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12724148087746233712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9291442.post-43413978931504594522014-05-19T22:02:17.876-04:002014-05-19T22:02:17.876-04:00Figs are remarkable trees. We left the other half still growing and it's been doing well ever since. It fruits twice a year. I really don't know what to do with all that fruit. If I did it again, I'd plant the little rosemary in a pot of it's own. (Superstitions say by the back gate is good luck.) Looks like you are having lots of good luck with your container gardens. Thanks for the inspiration.<br />HugsTerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08927552672720816359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9291442.post-89555856594525440932014-05-19T14:35:52.281-04:002014-05-19T14:35:52.281-04:00Love your blog. It has been cold here the last 3 or 4 nights - I am talking about being in the 30's and low 40's so I think it is slowing things down here in northeast Ohio. My zinnias don't even have their second leaves yet after two weeks.
