All Better Now

A friend of mine got some sad news and it really made me snap out of it and get back on track. I am done whining and ready to make the most out of my day. I put some plants in dirt, always a good thing, and visited my sprouts outdoors too. I have four inch high daffodil stems already. Woo!

I found this cute one skein wonder to knit. In the pink too, which is my color of the moment. Instant gratification knitting.

And I made a huge batch of yummy low-cal granola

with coconut, walnuts, almond, pecans and later I added cranberries and raisins.

Dave fixed my studio stereo so it can play my mp3 player without static, and he hung his own bedroom curtains, as well as removed all the remaining Christmas lights from the living room. Phew!

So I decided to make a sketch and cut some fabric and play around. Yup. I am all better now.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

  1. Now that's more like it.

We all need a few days in the year to whine. But you can cross that off your list now. BTDT.

  3. Granola recipes abound on the internet, and of course I just winged it after reading several. Google Granola or go to this one:

  4. I always get in a funk after my NC family visits too. I'm not used to all of the verbal stimulation and it takes a few days to settle into the quiet again.

Glad to hear you have popped out of it.
