Attention Quilters!

Bright Rainbow $10 for a half yard

Remember this fabric when you took my workshop? You received two pieces in class, and then I refused to sell you anymore, meany that I am. Well, when I retired from teaching, all my dye equipment and knowledge went to live at the studio of my friend and fellow art quilter Anne Lullie and now Anne is offering this same exact fabric for sale from her new website, Anne's Hand Dyed Glorious Colors.

I have no more fabric to dye. None. And no dyes either. So go to Anne's site and get it from her. You'll be glad you did.

And now back to our program already in progress:

I've been tagged by a meme that requires 7 random facts about me, and then I have to tag someone else.

Hmm. Shall I participate? OK but only partially.

1. I once had a crush on Mark Knopfler so bad that I considered running away from home to be with him. I was already over 40.

2. I don't sleep really comfortably unless I am wearing pajama bottoms.

3. I cannot bear being late and start to get really agitated if I am making someone wait for me.

4. I am very fussy about my bedcovers. In a hotel I often rip off the blankets and sheets and remake the bed my way. A mattress without a fitted sheet upsets me.

5. I have had cats as pets all my life, but am losing interest in having any more after Popeye goes. It's the litter box that did it.

6. True crime fiction, police procedurals and murder mysteries are my favorite genres. I don't mind the blood and gore, and love the puzzle of whodunnit.

7. I have owned three motorcycles in my life and had my first one at 19. I no longer have any interest in riding one, or owning one.

There I did it. But I am not going to tag anyone else, because I don't like chain thingies.

  3. Once worked with Mark Knopfler's wife - the marriage ended soon after but I did get to meet him - wasn't really impressed but he was probably having a bad day! Mind you that was before I was 40! And I do like his music.

Your generosity is shining through and I wish Anne well with her new enterprise. Meanwhile, I have my piece of Melody's original dyed fabric that I purchased in New Zealand in 2003. One of these days...
