New Knits

Neck Down Cardigan Pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple, in Noro Kureyon

Modeled by The Invisible Woman. Don't I love Photoshop?

And then there are these socks that I made for David Walker in trade for website work. Aren't they tiny and cute? But they are also MANLY MAN'S socks.

I met Laura and Frieda Friday at Panera for lunch and a fabric swap. This means Laura brings 200 meters of white cotton and I swap her a large check. Food is involved, quilt show and tell, and then some knitting.

My Power Point lecture needed some pictures of us knitting, so Laura obediently posed

and so did Frieda. The lecture is about the faculty of the Chicago School of Fusing, and the fact that we are all also knitters.

I already have Emily knitting in my files, no posing required. Just try and see her without knitting in her hands.

And here's an archive photo of Anne Lullie with needles clicking at Panera. Anne has added wonderful new quilts to her website.

Your site blog is like a real upper on these drab days. I visit to get my 'color' fix.

Sorry to see Dave's blog go. I will miss his writings. Tell him I wish him all the best.

Tell Anne her quilts are awesome but I wish they were 'clickable'.

  6. Hey --I like that shirt; wonder what I did with it!? Those are some pretty sexy knittters; Maybe we should make one of those nude calendars, w/ us knitting/or quilting--what do you think? Might generate some interest?
