Last Day in Denver

I have had the biggest classes in my life at this show, with 26 students to teach in a huge long room, which makes me say everything twice so that in theory everyone hears me. Even with my loud mouth, I cannot get all the students to stop and listen.
Well.
It turns out that if they don't hear me, and just keep working...they make much more interesting and original work.
Ha!

So from now on...not only will I not hover over them, I will just give them a bit of direction and let them go! Then I will take all the credit. Ha, Again!

Here is my newest collector Adrienne Lindsay Cannon
who is a fabulous artist herself. You will be amazed at the quilt on that link. She won first prize at the World of Beauty exhibit from IQA.
After class, cleaning up and repacking a bit, Libby Lehman took Marjan and me out to dinner. Libby always rents a car wherever she goes and it was wonderful to let our hair down and laugh and have a wonderful meal at John Elway's restaurant in Cherry Creek.
I think this is the best picture I have ever taken of Libby. I have taken many.

Like me, Marjan can barely keep her eyes open. We talked all day and then shouted through dinner, but it was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Good food, good wine, good friends, good paycheck.
'Bye Denver.
