Cinco de Oh My!

My mouth ran a marathon with two full classes (25 each) of machine quilting yesterday, separated by a lunch break at Taco John's to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. For me this holiday is merely an excuse to enjoy Mexican food...and that was the best I could do on short notice and sans auto.

Super Burrito with three salsas. No pictures and so far no botulism.

My students were super too. The classroom was equipped with Janome 6600's. Muy Bueno.

Marjan Kluepfel is my fave roomie, and we decided to stay in for the evening and avoid the revelers. We had a glass of wine in the room and ate a salad in the hotel grill and went back to the room and started watching tv.

By 8:15, it was lights out. What a pair of party girls. Teaching really takes the frijoles out of you.

So far in Denver the weather has been cold and rainy and the mountains are still hidden...but the sun is expected to peek out today.
